Taylar & Dylan

The Green Cathedral & Palms Pavilion

Taylar & Dylan’s wedding at the breathtaking Green Cathedral and Palms Pavilion in Tiona was a vibrant, retro-inspired celebration layered with colour, texture, and heartfelt meaning. Their styling vision leaned playful and nostalgic, with browns, blues, and yellows woven through florals and fruit-filled details — pineapples, lemons, and rockmelon transforming their ceremony arbour into a sculptural statement beneath the palms. Emotion ran deep throughout the ceremony, from Taylar’s teary first look with her bridesmaids to the meaningful presence of their maid of honour and best man standing beside them at the altar — a beautiful nod to the fact their wedding fell on National Friendship Day.

Afterward, the bridal party and couple portraits unfolded along sun-drenched One Mile Beach, where bright summer light brought warmth and vibrancy to every frame. As cloud rolled in toward sunset, the light softened into a gentle glow, creating the dreamiest atmosphere for their more intimate portraits together. The celebration continued at Palms Pavilion, where their ceremony arbour was cleverly repurposed to frame a playful lemonade spritz tower and tiled cake plinths — seamlessly carrying their quirky, colourful aesthetic into the reception.

The night closed in pure energy and joy: a hyped dancefloor, unforgettable moves from their maid of honour (including a committed worm), a perfectly on-beat Kendrick Lamar moment from the best man, and Taylar & Dylan lifted onto shoulders, dancing above a sea of cheering friends. Their day was the perfect blend of retro styling, coastal summer light, and deep-rooted friendship — a wedding that felt completely and unapologetically them.
