Some love stories begin in the most unexpected places — and for Kristyn & Jonathon, it all started with a coffee.
They first crossed paths in a little café, one of the many owned by Jono’s family. Before covid lockdowns reshaped the world, they caught each other’s eye across the counter — Kristyn ordering her drink, Jono behind the machine as her barista. What began as a simple moment quickly grew into something far bigger than either of them could have imagined.
Through the chaos of lockdown, building a home together, and welcoming their beautiful daughter Amelia in April last year, their story only continued to deepen. And on a warm day in the Hunter Valley, surrounded by the people who have loved them through it all, they finally said “I do.”
The Woodhouse set the perfect scene for their day — grounded in nature, romantic in every corner, and brought to life by the most talented local Hunter Valley vendors. Whimsical florals, soft colour palettes, and thoughtful styling tied everything together effortlessly. It felt like walking into a storybook — gentle, intentional, and beautifully them.
Their reception was everything: emotional, joyful, electric.
There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as the best man, maid of honour, and mother of the bride shared stories that had everyone laughing one moment and wiping tears the next. The dancefloor kicked off immediately after — absolutely pumping from the first song and never slowing down.
Kristyn & Jono’s wedding felt like such a true reflection of who they are — warm, connected, grounded, and full of light. From their café beginning to the life they’ve built with Amelia, this day felt like a celebration of every step that brought them here.
An unforgettable day for an unforgettable couple — and the sweetest start to their next chapter.
And just when the energy peaked, Kristyn surprised everyone (including Jono!) with the most incredible second dress change — a moment that had the whole room cheering. It was the perfect final spark to close out a night already overflowing with love.
